Annual General Meeting - September 8th, 2010
Twenty nine members and guests attended the annual general meeting and were captivated with guest speaker, Grace Diamond, an animal communicator from Okotoks, AB.
Member, Cathy Carroll and her Hahn's Macaw, Hannah, drove from Lethbridge to attend the meeting. Thank you!
Feathered members included Bella (Goffin's Cockatoo), Caleb (Sun Conure), Corky (Moluccan Cockatoo), Cuddles (Congo African Grey), Hannah (Hahn's Macaw), Jack (Moluccan Cockatoo), Link (Senegal), Zak (Moluccan Cockatoo).
The new board of directors includes: Gloria Fantin (returning), Judy Foster (returning), Jonathan Martin, Joanne Meis, Faye Sekella, Judy Taylor, Renilda Van Aerden (returning treasurer) with returning official volunteers Casey Filipek (greeter), Dirk Meyer (website), Jim Powell (finances). The directors will announce board positions and additional official volunteers in the next short while.
We thank those members retiring from the board for their dedication and commitment over the past year.
A very successful meeting with strong positive feedback from attendees.
